A coin daffodil sounds like a really unique idea. The chalk drawings look great too... The cancer society is a really wonderful cause to support. Good on you! Here at Otewa school we are supporting Blue Friday which is for Prostate Cancer...keep an eye on our blog to see what we do on Sep 3rd.
Wow! What an amazing thing to do! Daffodil Day sounds inspiring! I'm a 5th grade teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We don't have our Daffodil Day here... I wish we had one! What did you enjoy most about Daffodil Day? What kind of things did you sell? I'd love to know more about it! Keep blogging! Greta Sandler

Excellent service learning project! Raising awareness for community needs with our students is something more teachers need to embrace.
