We were all surprised when we saw out the window this penguin called Cory. It was really someone dressed up, though it was the aquatic centers lucky mascot so we didn't make fun of him.One of Cory's friends came aswell. (to translate him)Because he spoke penguin.When he was walking away he started doing the(CHACHA)and the (SHAKE YOUR BOOTY).

the book worm hide out buissness

Luke.c and I (Hannah.t) did really well in our business we were selling book marks and we made $190 and in real money that would have been $60 that is pretty good and we had lots of people coming back for more at our stall and they were quite impressed with the quality of our stock though some of our most popular book marks sold out so i think that we needed to make maybe a couple more of some of them but Luke and i were really pleased because we had lots of good comments Luke thinks that other stalls were selling quite good stuff and i think that other people did really well too

Why hannah.T likes Reading!

I really like reading because,

When i am angry i just read a little and it takes me into another world and somehow
or other it calms me down.

I also like reading because,

every time i read a book it improoves my literacy and if it is a non fiction book
I learn about what happened in their lives.

I like the my story's like anne frank or other childeren or teens who kept a diary
in wars or bad times

that is why i like reading !!!

Getting some use out of the unicycles.

We went to Mahana school to interview some people
about the unicycles!!

Interviewer~ so how long did it take you to get as good as you are now?

Hannah.T~ not long ,about a month.

interviewer~ so do you have any tips for other riders?

Taylor.P~ yep,to start off maybe hold on to a fence or pole to get your balance
and getting used to the feeling if you have not ridden before.

Hannah.T~ another tip from me after you have been holding on to the fence
it is also good to try just pushing of with your own steam!!

Hi, I went to perth (in aussie) 22nd of april with my dad to see my cousins and family for three weeks.I got heaps of time off school which was really good!My cousins Lina and Saki were quite annoying,following me around all the time and copying me, like if i wore a dress Lina would wear one too,REALLY annoying.Lucy my smallest cousin who was two years old was really cool and cute though.

When I came back to new zealand it was freezing because in perth it sometimes got up to 30 degrees but back in new zealand it's only 15 to 20 at the hottest in the autumn.
