Self propelled cars

We have recently been doing tech and one challenge was to build a self propelled miniature go cart. there were lots of good designs and we all had fun.

Giraffes at the zoo

On wellington camp we got to stay a night at the zoo. plus we got a night time and morning tour.
We feed the giraffes and saw the chimpanzees aparently they are 10 times stronger than humans without even trying and when they are angry they are 20 times stronger.
The photo above is of one of the Giraffes going into her sleeping enclosure to get fed.

The winner !!!!

This is our marble run.we were learning geometry we had to use a protractor to measure the angle of our track which was 45 degrees. ours went 12.7 meters ^_^.

MONSTROSITY

This book has four stories and we are going to tell you about GREEN SLIME DINNER TIME.
The story is about Monster (Aka Brewster) staying at his aunt Milldew's house. She is forcing him to eat brussel sprouts. So hi comes up with a plan to get rid of them. we give it 3 out of 5.This book is for boys 8 to 12. we only give it 3out of 5 because we would of better as one story

Pako Unicycle

Our school has just brought some new unicycles and we are keeping a log of our progress

CLUBS

At Mahana School we have been doing Clubs after lunch on Tuesdays. The 7 clubs are animation, outdoors, music, science, cycling, sewing and mosaics. Parents come in to help lead the clubs and their help is much appreciated.

Pako and I are doing animation and we think it is really fun because it's cool how it tricks your eye into thinking that the character in the pictures are actually moving.

Baking

On Tuesday the 3rd of March we did some baking we made... brownies,chocolate cake,apricot loaf

and Nancy's slice.
